As a Guidewire SBT Specialist (SSE) at our company, you will play a crucial role in implementing and enhancing Standards-Based Templates (SBT) within the PolicyCenter ecosystem. Your responsibilities will involve driving the rollout of commercial insurance products, ensuring regulatory alignment, and operational efficiency across different jurisdictions. Your expertise in technical aspects, insurance compliance, and product delivery optimization will be essential for success in this role. **Responsibilities:** - Serve as a Senior Engineer leading development teams, both internal and external - Configure and maintain Guidewire SBTs for commercial insurance products - Deep understanding of commercial P&C insurance products and workflows - Convert ISO and AAIS standards into Guidewire solutions using Product Designer or APD - Collaborate with product owners and actuarial teams to align templates with business requirements - Customize rating algorithms, forms, and rules according to state-specific needs - Monitor regulatory updates and make timely template adjustments - Support testing, validation, and deployment of SBT configurations - Provide technical documentation and training to internal stakeholders - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SBT performance and integration - Ensure compliance with coding standards, security practices, and documentation requirements - Support production deployments and post-release validation of rating changes - Stay updated on new technologies and make recommendations as required - Assist in task planning, estimation, and scheduling - Mentor Software Engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge **Requirements:** - 3+ years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, especially SBT modules, Rating, and Product Model - Proficiency in GOSU scripting and Guidewire configuration tools - Strong understanding of insurance rating principles and actuarial collaboration - Experience with Guidewire Studio and configuration best practices - Agile/Scrum Project Experience - Good conceptual, analytical, and mathematical skills **Good To Have:** - Guidewire certification in PolicyCenter Configuration or Rating - Experience with Guidewire Cloud or Digital Portals - Experience with multi-state product rollouts - Knowledge of P&C insurance products and regulatory compliance frameworks - Experience working in Agile preferred In addition to the job details, ValueMomentum is a leading solutions provider for the global property & casualty insurance industry.
