As a Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer in the Technology Consulting team at EY, you'll contribute to various Guidewire engagements globally. Your role involves collaborating with team members, interfacing with onsite coordinators, completing assigned tasks on time, and providing regular status reports to the lead. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire engagements - Interface and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators - Complete assigned tasks on time and provide regular status reports to the lead Qualifications Required: - BE/BTech/MCA with 1.5 to 3 years of industry experience - Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter Configuration and Integration - Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain - Strong proficiency in Java 5, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT - Proficiency in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System - Strong knowledge and experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic - Real-time knowledge and experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain - Understanding and experience of software development best practices - Excellent business communication skills - Prior client-facing experience is a plus EY aims to build a better working world by creating long-term value for clients, people, and society while building trust in the capital markets.
