Job description Roles and Responsibilities To carryout works and take responsibilities as a Plant In-charge: Operate the plant effectively, efficiently and without zero break-down to achieve maximum. Liaising with interested parties KPTCL, Irrigation and local government bodies. Inspection and certification of incoming materials (spares and consumables) Planning annual maintenance works and timely implementation. Allocating works and guiding sub ordinates and; workmen for day today activities. Must have vast exposure in operation, maintenance and troubleshooting on Pelton / Francis turbine and Horizontal brushless generators. Mecamidi HPP Exposure in troubleshooting of Electrical and Mechanical equipments like Turbine, Generator, Bearings, Guide vane, Flywheel, EOT crane, gear box, Gates, Governing system, main inlet valve, pressure oil system, cooling water system, GLOP system etc. Monitoring and supervision of gauges, cooling water system, drainage system, relays or other indicators to ensure proper working condition of the units. Monitor daily operations of the plant including Electro Mechanical, Hydro Mechanical,Transmission Line, Capable of regular maintenance of the plant, during emergency break downs & annual maintenance of the plant. Planning, procuring spares & inventory control. Interface with regulatory bodies as and when required.
