Gujarati Language Tester

Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Linguistic Tasks

• Support linguistic data collection and development of resources like lexicons and corpora
• Work with engineering teams to refine linguistic features and address language-specific challenges
• Provide linguistic analysis for model training, tuning, and error analysis

ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition)

• Transcribe and annotate Gujarati audio with high accuracy
• Conduct quality checks on speech transcriptions and audio-text alignments
• Contribute to pronunciation lexicons and assist in acoustic model validation

MT (Machine Translation)

• Translate text between Gujarati and English
• Review and post-edit machine-translated content for quality, accuracy, and fluency
• Develop and apply linguistic rules for improving translation output

TTS (Text-to-Speech)

• Evaluate synthesized Gujarati speech for naturalness, clarity, and accuracy
• Perform text normalization and phonetic transcription for Gujarati content
• Assist in voice data validation and mapping phonemes to sounds

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Languages, or a related field
• Native or near-native fluency in Gujarati, with strong command of English
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in linguistics, NLP, or AI/ML language technologies
• Experience with tools for transcription, annotation, or translation is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for language technology

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
