As a Consultant / Technical Expert at EY GDS, you will have the opportunity to work on various Guidewire implementation projects for Global Customers. You will be part of a dynamic team working across Policy Admin, Claims, Billing, Underwriting, Data, Digital, and Actuarial domains. Additionally, you will collaborate with global teams across EY on large-scale transformation and platform implementation programs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work in an advisory role as a Consultant / Technical Expert on various technical streams of Guidewire implementation/Integration projects. - Interface and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators. - Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team. - Mentor the project team in executing identified projects. - Provide regular status reports to the Manager and onsite coordinators. - Interface with customer representatives as required. - Travel to customer locations on a need basis. **People Responsibilities:** - Build a quality culture within the team. - Manage performance management for direct reports in accordance with organizational policies. - Foster teamwork and lead by example. - Provide training and mentoring to project resources. - Participate in organization-wide people initiatives. **Qualification Required:** - Experience range of 1 to 12 years. - Experience in Guidewire GW PC / CC / BC Config / Integration / GW Digital. - Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of various GW PC / CC / BC Config / Integration / GW Digital concepts. - Experience in Guidewire implementations and upgrades in the Insurance sector. - Strong technical skills in Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT. - Proficiency in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System. - Strong knowledge and experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic. - Real-time experience in enterprise system integration, preferably from an Insurance domain background. - Understanding and experience of software development best practices. - Excellent business communication and leadership skills. - Prior experience in client-facing roles.
