Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Admission Counselor to guide and support parents through the admission process for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Year Program(MYP) and IB Diploma Program(IB DP) at our International Baccalaureate (IB) school in Gurugram, Haryana. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the IB curriculum, and a passion for education. Key Responsibilities: Counseling and Guidance : Provide comprehensive counseling to prospective parents regarding the PYP,MYP and IB Diploma program, its philosophy, and educational approach. Admissions Process Management : Assist families with the application process, including documentation, deadlines, and requirements. Information Sessions : Conduct presentations and information sessions for prospective families to explain the PYP/MYP/IB DP curriculum and school values. Individual Consultations : Schedule and conduct one-on-one meetings with parents to address their questions and concerns. Collaboration : Work closely with the admissions team, teachers, and administrators to ensure a smooth admission process and accurate communication of school offerings. Event Coordination : Organize and participate in school tours, open houses, and other recruitment events. Follow-Up : Maintain regular communication with prospective families throughout the admissions cycle to nurture relationships and encourage enrollment. Feedback Collection : Gather feedback from families to improve the admissions experience and report insights to the administration. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred). Previous experience in admissions, counseling, or educational sales, preferably in an IB school. Strong understanding of the IB PYP curriculum and its principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with admissions management software. Skills: Empathetic listening and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
