About the role I’m looking for a designer/developer with strong WordPress expertise to customize purchased templates and implement design changes across client sites. This is an ongoing role with frequent projects and the potential for a long-term partnership. Shopify knowledge is also needed for occasional tasks. What you’ll do Customize and style WordPress themes/templates I provide (layout, typography, colors, sections). Configure plugins, create pages, optimize site structure, and ensure responsive design. Implement basic WooCommerce setups (products, carts, checkout, shipping/tax settings). Make content updates and light on-page SEO (titles, meta, alt tags). Handle occasional Shopify theme edits, page builds, and minor Liquid/CSS adjustments. Test for speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. What you need Proven, hands-on WordPress experience (Gutenberg and/or Elementor/Divi). Strong theme customization skills; solid grasp of CSS/HTML for styling tweaks. Experience with plugins (forms, caching/optimization, security, SEO) and WooCommerce . Working knowledge of Shopify theme customization (sections, templates, minor Liquid edits). Attention to detail, fast turnaround, and clear communication. Compensation & terms We’ll start with an initial paid trial project to review quality and speed. Frequent ongoing work after a successful trial; salary/compensation will increase over time based on performance and reliability.
