As a member of the Accounts Receivable team at Aditya Birla Global Trading (ABGT), you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer accounts by ensuring proper invoicing and accounts receivable processes. Your responsibilities will include reviewing sales contracts to identify any deviations from the standard terms and obtaining necessary approvals. Monitoring and reporting deviations from approved credit limits will be a key aspect of your role, along with preparing contract summaries for the issuance of final Delivery Orders (DO). Additionally, you will be involved in assisting with audits as per the requirements of auditors. One of the key challenges you will face in this role is following up with customers for outstanding ledgers and resolving any open items mentioned in customer reconciliation. You will also need to address TDS-related issues while conducting reconciliations with 26AS statements. In terms of accountability, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring proper invoicing in adherence to contractual terms, maintaining the hygiene of customer accounts, and engaging with customers on collection matters and dispute resolutions. Timely reconciliation of customer accounts, adherence to accounting principles and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as well as accuracy in SAP and other accounting software, will be essential aspects of your role. Compliance with GST and TDS regulations will also be a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will be tasked with reviewing sales contracts of Coal customers and preparing customer reviews/summaries for the Trade Team. You will also play a role in preparing various reports such as customer ageing, Net Position Report, Delay Lifting, and Pending Interest, along with assisting in the Monthly Progress Review (MPR). Your role will also involve suggesting and collaborating on new reports and automation initiatives to streamline processes. You will gather the necessary information required for automation work and participate in testing activities. To be successful in this role, you should possess a CA qualification and have 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivables. Knowledge and experience of using SAP, familiarity with General Accounting Principles, Accounting Standards, and GST provisions, as well as strong analytical and interpersonal skills, will be crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for efficient communication with customers and internal stakeholders.,
