GST & Direct Tax Executive

1. GST Compliance & Advisory:

• Preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C).
• Handling GST reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B vs books, GSTR-1 vs 3B, etc.).
• Assistance in responding to GST notices, queries, and departmental audits.
• Support in GST registration, amendment, refund applications, and other compliances.
• Keep updated with GST law amendments, circulars, and notifications.

2. Direct Taxation:

• Preparation and filing of Income Tax returns (Individuals, Firms, Companies).
• Assistance in Tax Audit (Form 3CD and related reporting).
• Computation of Advance Tax, TDS liability, and timely payment.
• Filing of TDS/TCS returns and reconciliation of Form 26AS.
• Handling Income Tax assessments, notices, and related correspondence

3. General Accounting & Reporting:

• Coordination with clients for data collection and query resolution.
• Assisting seniors in statutory audits and internal audits.
• Preparing necessary MIS reports related to GST and Direct Tax.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of GST law, Income Tax Act, and related rules.
• Hands-on experience in return filing, audits, reconciliations, and tax computations.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Tally/ERP, and GST utility software.
• Ability to draft replies to tax notices and communicate with clients effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
