Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: 1. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends. Analyse competitors, their products, and market strategies to stay ahead in the industry.Identifies and proposes potential solar business by contacting prospects and explores opportunities 2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company&aposs goals. Create plans to enter new markets and expand the customer basewith demonstrated abilities in devising marketing activities and accelerating the business growth. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and promote the company&aposs products/services. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, evaluation options, resolving internal priorities. Close new business 3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients andkey decision-makers in target organizations for business development. Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.Connect with channel partners and ability to develop new ones, good in presentation and communications skills 4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Present sales, revenue & expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team through BD MIS, highlighting progress and areas for improvement. & analyze the performance of business development activities. Monitor target v/s achievement on regular basis of all BD pipelines, part of review team of BD initiatives, track PPA auction, government auction and a pipeline of new opportunities 5. Sales and Revenue Generation: Identify and pursue new sales leads and opportunities for region. Develop proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business deals. 6. Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets for business development activities, Achieve growth & sales targets as per the budget. Ensure cost-effective strategies and optimize resources for maximum return on investment. 7. Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build connections and promote the company&aposs brand. Leverage professional networks to identify potential business opportunities. 8. Collaborationand Coordination with other departments, such as marketing, projects, and AM, to ensure cohesive business strategies. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and deals. 9. Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and innovations.
