Role Overview This is a Player-Manager role: you will both execute high-skill SEO tasks and manage junior SEO specialists to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. You’ll own client projects end-to-end, coordinate between team members, and ensure consistent results without needing constant oversight. Responsibilities: Project Ownership: Take charge of 3 - 5 client accounts and ensure deliverables are completed on time. Act as the bridge between the founder and the SEO execution team. Execution: Conduct technical SEO audits, keyword research, and advanced on-page optimization. Resolve tricky SEO issues (indexation, schema, site structure, Core Web Vitals). Guide link-building strategies in coordination with the link-building team. Management: Assign tasks, review work, and ensure quality delivery from junior team members. Provide structured feedback and help juniors improve their skills. Prepare client reports, and join client calls for updates. Maintain accountability - make sure deadlines are met without constant escalation. Process Improvement: Suggest new tools, processes, or approaches to make the SEO team more efficient. Track performance, spot bottlenecks, and ensure continuous improvement. Requirements: 3 - 6 years of hands-on SEO execution (on-page, technical SEO, keyword research, audits). Experience managing or mentoring 2 - 4 SEO Executive. Strong understanding of Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, etc. Ability to own projects end-to-end with minimal oversight. Excellent English communication skills (written + spoken). Proactive, takes initiative, not just a task executor. Client-facing experience (calls, presentations).
