Job Title: General Manager – Resort Operations Location: Gulbarga, Karnataka Job Summary: The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the resort, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, profitability, and team performance. This role involves strategic planning, staff leadership, operational excellence, and upholding the brand standards Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, and Spa. Drive exceptional guest experiences by maintaining service excellence and addressing guest concerns promptly. Lead, motivate, and develop resort staff; manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve revenue, occupancy, and overall profitability. Manage budgets, forecasts, cost control, and financial reports in coordination with the head office. Build strong relationships with vendors, local authorities, and corporate partners. Oversee marketing activities, promotions, and local event planning to increase visibility and bookings. Maintain the resort’s infrastructure, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal at all times. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in hotel/resort operations with at least 3 years in a GM or senior leadership role. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Financial acumen and experience in P&L management. Familiarity with hotel management systems and CRM tools. Passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
