**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** As a Group Manager in the Powertrain Engineering team in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of Electronical & Electronics engineers to drive future powertrain development. Your responsibilities will include developing competences within the team, ensuring highest standards of results delivery, and collaborating with global teams to shape sustainable transport solutions for the future. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop & lead a team of E&E engineers with expertise in architecture, functions, Diagnostic services, cyber security, powertrain communication, and configuration. - Grow a competent team of SW & function developers integrated into global agile teams. - Drive roadmaps collaboratively based on Product streams, Application & Market knowledge to make PE Bangalore a leading site in virtual powertrain development. - Coach team members in daily activities, secure necessary pre-requisites for successful execution of responsibilities. - In charge of training plan, salary evolution proposal, talent mapping assessment proposal, and all other administrative activities for team members. - Regular communication to the team on performance, strategies, and operations. - Secure competence development strategy and coach team members on personal development. **Qualification Required:** - Broad technical knowledge with a deep interest in developing & leading a team providing technical leadership for Powertrain Architecture, Requirements Management, On-Board Diagnostics, Communication with Vehicle and Diagnostics Strategies, HiL, SiL. - 12+ years" diverse experience in automotive engineering environment, ideally with an engineering education. - Hands-on experience in embedded systems, Electrical/electronic engineering, SW, Functional development, Diagnostics, HiL, SiL. - Good knowledge of medium and heavy vehicle products application. - Ability to create organization-wide energy and optimism for the future, articulate vision effectively. - Demonstrate courage and integrity, face difficult issues, and support others who do the same.
