Role Description We are seeking a Software Test Engineer who is detail-oriented and passionate about delivering bug-free, user-friendly applications. You will be responsible for performing manual and automated testing , identifying issues, and ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of quality. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Tambaram, Chennai office. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong understanding of testing life cycles , experience in writing test cases , and a knack for uncovering edge-case bugs. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases Conduct functional, regression, performance, and UI testing of web and mobile applications Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams to ensure complete test coverage Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly Verify issue fixes and perform re-testing Prepare and maintain test documentation, test plans, and bug reports Ensure deliverables meet quality standards before release Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives ✅ Qualifications 0–2 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation) Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools Experience in writing test cases, test plans , and test reports Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium, Appium, or similar) is a plus Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS , APIs, or scripting languages is an advantage Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related field Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile team environment 🌟 Why Join Greenlime?
