Role & responsibilities Qualification & Experience: BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with around 5 to 6 years of experience in designing of HVAC System for pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Candidates working with pharmaceutical project consultants or EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) companies or Projects Department of pharmaceutical manufacturing companies are eligible to apply. Candidates with knowledge of pharmaceutical process and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirement and hands on experience in designing of clean room facilities for pharmaceutical formulation facilities (both oral dosage & sterile injectables) will be preferred. Job Description: Carrying out heat load calculations Duct size calculations and preparation of ducting layouts Blower selection and static pressure calculations Preparation classification, Zoning and Differential pressure (DP) layouts. Designing of Chilled water, Hot water and Cooling water pipe lines (sizing of pipe, wall thickness calculations, pump head calculations etc.) and insulation. Coordinating with other disciplines for deciding levels for duct routing, duct routing, equipment location etc. Sizing of equipment and utilities like AHU, Chiller, Hot water generator, Pumps, Exhaust air units, Ventilation air units etc. Coordinating with other disciplines for preparation of RCP layouts Temperature, RH and DP control and monitoring philosophy and deploying appropriate automation (BMS and EMS) Development of GFC drawings Preparation of BOQ & tender documents Validation and Documentation knowledge as expected in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
