Position Overview The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and supporting financial reporting and analysis. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial data, leading month-end and year-end close processes, and assisting with audits and forecasting. Key Responsibilities Oversee and perform general accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Support budgeting and forecasting by providing detailed financial analysis and insight. Coordinate with external auditors and provide supporting documentation for annual audits.
