Graphic Designer & Video Editor

A graphic designer and video editor's responsibilities include: Graphic design Creating visual concepts, layouts, and assets for websites, social media, and email campaigns. This can include designing logos, branding materials, advertisements, infographics, and data visualizations. Video editing Developing a storytelling approach, editing and mixing audio elements, and capturing footage. This can include assembling raw footage, digitally cutting files, and color-grading videos. Collaboration Working with copywriters, the creative director, and marketing teams. Technical skills Using industry-standard software like Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Research Staying updated with design trends and best practices, and conducting competitor analysis. Communication Providing technical support for design- and video-related efforts, and communicating with team members and content creators. Organization Maintaining organized content files, and helping to organize and archive existing video and graphics files. Some qualifications for a graphic designer and video editor role include: A degree or diploma in graphics or related field 1–2 years of experience in graphic design and video editing Strong communication and conceptual thinking skills Typography skills and design skills
