Graphic Designer

About the Role:

The South Cartel is looking for a versatile and driven Design Lead to join our creative team. This is a mid-level position, ideal for someone with solid experience in visual design and a sharp eye for detail. While the primary focus is on executing high-quality design work, we’re also looking for someone who can collaborate cross-functionally and take ownership of creative projects — possibly growing into a team lead role over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• ⁠Design and deliver compelling creatives across digital, print, and video formats
• ⁠ ⁠Work closely with our video, content, and marketing teams to conceptualize visual strategies
• ⁠ ⁠Translate ideas into on-brand graphics, presentations, social media posts, and marketing assets
• ⁠ ⁠Maintain visual consistency while pushing the creative direction forward
• ⁠ ⁠Take initiative in project planning, feedback loops, and creative execution
• ⁠ ⁠Mentor junior team members as needed and contribute to creative process improvements

Requirements:

• ⁠ ⁠2–5 years of experience in graphic design with a strong and diverse portfolio
• ⁠ ⁠Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; bonus: After Effects)
• ⁠ ⁠Solid understanding of layout, typography, branding, and color theory
• ⁠ ⁠Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• ⁠ ⁠Great communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

• ⁠ ⁠Experience in basic animation/motion graphics
• ⁠ ⁠Familiarity with tools like Figma or Canva
• ⁠ ⁠Prior experience working with or guiding junior designers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
