Graphic Designer - Print

As a Graphic Designer in the Print Ad Production unit, you will play a crucial role in the production of various print products such as newspapers, magazines, books, and stationery. Your responsibilities will range from designing and approving artwork, ads, images, and texts to overseeing the printing process itself. Key Responsibilities: - Manage comprehensive time schedules to ensure design projects are completed on time and within budget. - Understand client briefs and guidelines effectively. - Prepare illustrations or rough sketches, discuss with Design Leads, and incorporate necessary changes. - Layout artwork to plan the appearance of finished pages (Page Planning / Designing). - Use mock-ups to create new ads. - Proofread and check documents for accuracy and visual impact (self-QA). - Utilize Spell and Grammar check option in software. - Apply typography, proximity, and font styles effectively to group text in advertisements. - Prepare items for reproduction in client-specified formats (pdf, eps, ps). - Determine the visual impact and arrangement of illustrative material, text copy, font style, and size. - Produce high-quality artwork within corporate brand guidelines and standards. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or Degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Design, or DTP. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. - Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. - Strong concentration abilities. - Good color vision. - Proficiency in working with new technologies and staying updated on software versions. - Excellent communication skills. - Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team.,
