Graphic Designer and Video Editor

As a Video Editor and Graphic Designer, your role involves reviewing and selecting the best shots from raw footage. You will use editing software to cut, splice, and arrange video clips into a coherent story. Your responsibilities will include integrating and editing audio, adding and creating graphics, titles, and special effects. Collaborating with directors and creative teams is essential to understand project goals and incorporate feedback effectively. Ensuring continuity and flow throughout the video, performing color correction, and adjusting lighting as needed are key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Review and select the best shots from raw footage - Cut, splice, and arrange video clips using editing software - Integrate and edit audio, including dialogue, music, and sound effects - Add and create graphics, titles, and special effects - Collaborate with directors and creative teams to understand project goals and incorporate feedback - Ensure continuity and flow throughout the video - Perform color correction and adjust lighting as needed - Prepare final cuts and deliver projects by their deadlines - Organize and maintain video files and libraries Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer or similar role - Proficiency in video editing software and graphic design tools - Strong creative and visual skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously - Understanding of brand identity and design principles The company focuses on design and development by creating visual concepts for various applications, including websites, social media, advertisements, brochures, and corporate reports. Collaboration with clients, marketers, copywriters, and other team members is crucial to understand project needs and deliver creative solutions. Conceptualizing and ideating by generating initial ideas and drafts based on client requirements is a significant part of the role. Brand management is emphasized to maintain and evolve brand identity through logos, color schemes, and typography guidelines. Production and preparation involve producing final files ready for print or digital use and liaising with suppliers or printers when necessary.
