Graphic Designer and Video Editor

Urgently hiring Graphic Designer and Video Editor with a minimum 1 year of experience in Jewellery industry for reputed Jewellery showroom in Chennai.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Creating images and layouts by using design software
• Testing graphics across various media.
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Create visually stunning video assets and content
• Take initiative on projects to over-deliver new and innovative solutions
• Create graphic templates for easy use by other team members and client teams
• Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
• Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:-

• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Figma, Final cut pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop) OR any other similar softwares.
• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Bachelor's degree(or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in graphic design and video editing.
• Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual composition.
• Knowledge of video codecs, formats, and video optimization for different platforms.
• Excellent creative thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• A portfolio showcasing previous graphic design and video editing projects is a must.
• Experience in jewellery industry is a plus.
