Position Overview The Manager – Client Relations serves as the primary point of contact between residents, their families, and our facility. You will work closely with department heads, caregivers, and community partners to deliver an outstanding living experience. Key Responsibilities · Act as the main liaison between residents, families, and facility staff to address questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. · Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance resident and family satisfaction. · Conduct regular family and resident meetings, surveys, and feedback sessions to gather insights and identify areas for improvement. · Manage the resolution of complaints and conflicts, ensuring residents’ voices are heard and their needs are met with empathy and urgency. · Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support seamless transitions for new residents, including orientation and move-in processes. · Maintain comprehensive records of resident interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations. · Provide guidance and education to families regarding care plans, facility services, and available resources. · Support marketing efforts by building strong community relationships and participating in outreach activities and events. · Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations regarding resident rights and care standards. · Identify opportunities for service enhancements and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Communications, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred). · Minimum of 3 years’ experience in client relations, customer service, or resident care coordination, preferably within an assisted living or senior care environment. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. · Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. · Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure. · Experience working with electronic health records and client management systems is an asset. · Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to assisted living facilities. · Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to serving seniors and their families.
