Job Description

Grafana LGTM Engineer

Strong hands-on experience with the
Grafana LGTM stack (Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir)
in production environments.
Experience setting up monitoring solutions for
Kubernetes
platforms.
Expertise in configuring and operating
Grafana
using open-source components.
Experience onboarding applications, platforms, or customers to observability tools.
Background in supporting
production environments, incident management
, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Experience working in cloud environments, preferably
Microsoft Azure
.

Mandatory Skills

Strong hands-on knowledge in creating and maintaining
Grafana dashboards
, visualizations, and alerting rules.
Practical experience using:

Loki
for log aggregation
Tempo
for distributed tracing
Mimir
for metrics storage

Hands-on experience with
OpenTelemetry instrumentation
for metrics, logs, and traces.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting
OpenTelemetry Collector
in both agent and gateway modes.
Working knowledge of
Kubernetes
(pods, nodes, workloads monitoring).
Experience configuring alert rules, notification channels, and threshold-based alerts.

Desired Skills

Experience with
DevOps
and Git-based workflows.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,
GitHub Actions
).
Knowledge of GitOps tooling such as
ArgoCD
.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (
Terraform
).
Scripting experience using
Python
and/or
Shell
for automation.
Exposure to
Observability-as-Code
practices.

Additional Expectations

Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams including SRE, Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Application Teams.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving mindset.
Strong communication skills to effectively work with global stakeholders.
Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.
