As a Database Practice Specialist focused on Oracle, you will engage with customers to identify appropriate Oracle workloads for migration to Google Cloud and design the overall deployment architecture. You will also work with partners and Oracle teams to develop migration plans to enable customers to move their Oracle workloads to Google Cloud. Responsibilities Be an Oracle technology subject matter expert, focusing on Oracle database offerings and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure specifically, knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, including ecompute/Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), storage and networking, and database services. Identify and qualify Oracle business opportunities, lead discovery workshops for Oracle workloads, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers. Support the technical relationship with Google’s customers, including product and solution briefings on Oracle and database modernization, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
