Minimum Qualifications: PhD or equivalent practical research experience in Computer Science, AI, or a related field with a focus on computer vision and/or machine learning. A strong publication record in top-tier AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ICLR). Hands-on experience building and training deep learning models in frameworks such as JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. In addition, the following would be an advantage: Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following: generative models, segmentation algorithms, multi-modal fusion, spatio-temporal analysis. Experience with or a strong interest in remote sensing or geospatial data. A passion for applying AI to solve large-scale societal challenges like climate change and food security. Experience mentoring students or junior researchers.
