Gofermate, a trusted name in the home services industry, has been providing top-tier Facility Management and Housekeeping Services since 2016. We also drive cutting-edge solutions for stock group trading software for brokers and social networking through our ESH Community platform, which is designed to connect professionals like LinkedIn. Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and skilled React.js/Next.js Developer Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects, from enhancing our stock auto trading platform to contributing to the development of a LinkedIn-like community for professionals, as well as improving our flagship home services platform, Gofermate. Key Responsibilities: • Frontend Development: Design, develop, and test responsive UI components for mobile and web applications using React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. • Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to implement visual elements and user interactions on web pages. • API Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and internal services into our applications, ensuring seamless functionality across platforms. • Responsive Design: Implement and optimize responsive designs that provide a consistent user experience across devices. • Debugging: Identify and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and platforms, ensuring our products perform flawlessly. • Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, write clean and maintainable code, and contribute to improving best practices. • Feature Development: Assist in the design and launch of new features for our products, including stock trading automation tools, professional networking features, and home service booking systems. Qualifications: • Educational Background: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Frontend Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and experience with React.js and Next.js. • Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and experience using frameworks like Tailwind CSS. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a remote setting. • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and an understanding of modern JavaScript ES6+ features. • Communication: Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Good to Have: • Experience with back-end development concepts and basic knowledge of Node.js. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. • Flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones.
