Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Godot Engine Tutor. The Godot Engine Tutor will be responsible for teaching young learners the fundamentals of game development using the Godot Engine platform. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, delivering interactive sessions, providing guidance for hands-on projects, offering mentorship, and assessing student progress through constructive feedback. The focus will be on creating an engaging and positive learning atmosphere, fostering creativity and confidence in students.

Qualifications

• Proficiency and practical experience using the Godot Engine for game development
• Strong teaching, curriculum design, and lesson-planning skills
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to young learners
• Knowledge of programming languages such as GDScript, shaders, or other similar languages
• Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with K-12 students
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience, particularly in game development or coding, is an advantage
• Access to a reliable internet connection and proficiency with online teaching tools
