Electrician role and responsibilities: · Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve with minimal downtime. · Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner. · Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage · Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management · Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations · Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality of products. · Assist in the development of preventative maintenance (PM) schedules · Carry out PM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required and provide feedback to develop the system · Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment · Log completion of work on all required maintenance reports and checklist Qualifications and experience: · ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering · 1-2 years of experience as Electrician · Excellent technical knowledge of Control Panel, DG, Electrical wiring · Very good knowledge of both Mechanical and electrical · Experience in food industry will be added advantage. Daily activities of the Technician · Daily inspections of equipment for potential issues, checking of leaks, wear & tear · Attend breakdown of the daily issues, with minimal time · Maintaining all the tools and equipment · Adjusting equipment setting and record the settings. · Improvement in the factory infrastructure including plumbing, civil as per the requirements.
