We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team and steer the financial future of this ambitious venture. The Role: As the CFO, you will be a key architect of our financial strategy and operational success. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, from securing project financing and managing capital expenditure to driving profitability and ensuring long-term financial health. This is a unique opportunity to build the financial framework for a multi-crore greenfield project from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Capital Raising: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy to support the company's growth. Lead efforts to raise capital, including securing project financing, managing debt, and engaging with investors. Project Finance & CAPEX Management: Oversee the financial management of capital expenditure, ensuring meticulous tracking of costs related to land acquisition, civil works, machinery procurement, and pre-operative expenses. Operational Finance (OPEX): Establish and manage budgets for all operational expenditures, including raw materials, labor, utilities (power and water), logistics, and compliance costs. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead financial modeling, profitability analysis, and forecasting. Provide detailed analysis on production costs, pricing, market dynamics, and gross margins . Regulatory & Environmental Compliance: Ensure financial adherence to a complex regulatory landscape, including licenses from MoEFCC, SPCB, and PESO. Manage financial aspects of environmental compliance, particularly for our state-of-the-art Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and water management systems. Government Incentives: Strategically pursue and leverage government incentives, such as the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, to enhance project viability and profitability. Risk Management & Controls: Implement robust internal controls, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies for financial, market, and operational risks. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary financial liaison with the board, investors, lenders, government agencies, and key partners. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing, infrastructure, or solar energy sectors. Demonstrated success in raising significant capital and managing large-scale project financing (experience with projects >INR 1,000 crore is highly desirable). Deep understanding of financial modeling, risk management, and techno-economic analysis. Experience navigating the complex regulatory and licensing environment in India. Strong knowledge of CAPEX and OPEX management in a manufacturing context. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. A strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level goals into financial realities. CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification. Why Join Us?
