Looking for GM/Head- Merchandising/International Marketing with 15 to 30yrs of relevant experience for Housewares Export House, Sonipat, Haryana. Preferable candidate should have relevant experience in hardgoods export house i.e., Cutlery, Kitchenware, Tableware, Housewares, etc - Email: jobs@rjcube.com Job Description General Manager- Merchandising/International Business Development (Cutlery & Kitchenware)- US & Europe Market. Reports to: Director / President- Sales & Marketing Experience Required: 15+ years in exports / international business, with proven buyer network in the USA & Europe Industry: Cutlery, Kitchenware, Tableware, Housewares Key Responsibilities: International Sales & Buyer Acquisition - Lead B2B business development for cutlery and kitchenware with a focus on USA and European buyers, importers, distributors, and retailers. - Leverage existing buyer relationships and develop new accounts in targeted regions. - Drive sales conversions from trade shows (e.g., Ambiente, IHGF, NY Now, etc.) and incoming inquiries. - Identify market opportunities, trends, and new product needs based on buyer feedback and competition benchmarking. Client Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for key international accounts, ensuring timely and professional communication. - Negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms, Incoterms (FOB, Ex-Works), and annual agreements. - Deliver customized solutions based on client requirements and market dynamics. Merchandising Coordination - Work closely with internal product development and merchandising teams to coordinate samples, product customizations, and packaging requirements. - Ensure product offerings align with regional aesthetic, regulatory, and functional preferences. Order Execution & Shipment Oversight - Monitor end-to-end execution from PO to shipment, including coordination with production, quality control, logistics, and documentation teams. - Ensure strict adherence to buyer compliance protocols (FDA, LFGB, CPSIA, BSCI, SEDEX, etc.) Strategic Planning & Reporting - Formulate and execute an annual export sales plan with revenue targets, country- specific strategies, and channel diversification. - Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pricing sheets, buyer dashboards, and post-show reports. - Provide competitive insights, margin analysis, and inputs on new product development. Key Requirements: - 15+ years of experience in international business/export sales in the kitchenware/cutlery/tableware sector. - Strong existing connects with buyers, importers, or distributors in the USA and Europe. - Hands-on experience in merchandising coordination and managing bulk/corporate orders. - In-depth knowledge of export documentation, logistics, and international compliance. - Experience attending or leading stalls in global trade fairs. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and client servicing skills. - Willingness to travel internationally as needed. Preferred Qualifications: - Background in Home & Kitchen, HoReCa, or Gifting industries - Familiarity with tools like Zoho CRM, Excel, Tally ERP, or export-specific software - MBA or equivalent degree in International Business, Sales, or Marketing
