Human Resources Assistant mumbai 2 - 4 years INR 0.9 - 1.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Role & responsibilities The role holder is responsible for supporting day-to-day human resource operations from offshore. The role ensures seamless coordination of recruitment of workers, employee documentation, visa processing, supporting data entry for payroll, grievance handling. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with selected candidates for pre-employment formalities, including reference checks (for direct applicants; no reference candidates) and document collection. Prepare and issue offer letters, employment contracts, and other related documents. Process employment visa applications and work permits in collaboration with the HR team, PRO, or Government Relations team. Ensure timely onboarding of new hires, including ID creation and camp/accommodation arrangements. Organize and facilitate orientation programs to familiarize new joiners with company culture, policies, safety norms, and operational standards. Process for medical insurance and bank cards for new employees. Prepare and process employment visa applications for new joiners (Workers). Coordinate with relevant authorities for occupational health card typing and issuance. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations related to employee documentation. Prepare and process employment visa applications for new joiners (workers). Any CAPA related to the incident should be actioned & closed within stipulated time. Assist in the preparation of payroll-related inputs by entering data such as sick leaves entries. Update the MOHRE number received in Oracle for New Joinees (Worker) Any updating/ entries assigned by the line managers Maintain accurate HR databases and personnel records both digitally and physically Manage visa cancellation, insurance card cancellation & Bank card cancellation for workers. Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: 2+ years of experience in in a generalist HR role, preferably within a logistics, warehousing, or industrial sector. Experience working with blue-collar and white-collar workforce
