Global Data Governance Project Manager

As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at Citi, you will play a crucial role in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. Your responsibilities will include: - Utilizing knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify necessary system enhancements and analyze/interpret code - Consulting with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems - Applying fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications and conducting testing and debugging - Serving as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts - Identifying problems, analyzing information, and recommending solutions - Resolving issues by selecting solutions through acquired technical experience - Operating with a limited level of direct supervision and exercising independence of judgement - Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members Qualifications required for this role include: - 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience Additionally, the ideal candidate should have 6-9 years of experience in development and maintenance of enterprise applications using technologies like Java, Springboot, Hibernate, Oracle DB. Strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, REST API, Spring Batch Job, JSP framework, Java Collections framework, MultiThreading, Relational Databases (preferably Oracle), SQL, ORM technologies (Hibernate), containerization like Docker, Openshift, DevOps tools (BitBucket, SonarQube, Jenkins), build tools such as Maven/Gradle, and Agile development lifecycle. You will also be responsible for participating in design and architecture discussions, ensuring technical alignment with development standards, SDLC, and coding frameworks, and application analysis, tuning, and measurement for performance and reliability based on SLA's. Participation in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings is also expected.
