Role & responsibilities : Responsibilities : Contribute as a member of ## global post-trade operations leadership to the execution of strategic operational objectives (65% local, 35% global) Supporting clearing and settlement processes for trading on Indian and global markets across asset classes like Equity, Fixed Income, derivatives, FX and commodities Be a senior member of the operations group in Gift City, which are responsible for daily post-trade support and operational duties including reference data management, clearing and settlement operations, streetside reconciliations, P&L estimation, as well as compliance analytics and reporting across multiple asset classes (FX, equities, futures, etc.). Work closely with global team members in the US, Europe, and Asia, to ensure coverage for critical processes and ensure consistency of services across regions. Serve as the regional liaison for operations with local senior and executive management; effectively communicate and present critical matters to key stakeholders and in various meetings. Lead the evolution of self-clearing operations and settlement processes in India. Understand the post trade requirements of different trading teams and contribute to the definition and execution of their service delivery roadmap. Inspire and lead the team to drive operational excellence and individual development. Qualifications : The successful candidate will have: 5-8 years of experience as application support/operations manager for Post Trade Platform (middle office and/or back office) in a reputed financial firm Experience working with reference data, reconciliation, P&L handling including third party vendor products Undergraduate or graduate degree from a top college or university Fundamental awareness or knowledge of SQL Brilliant problem solving and analytics (number crunching) skills Additionally, the candidate will be: Organized and detail-oriented (extremely important) Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently and take on many responsibilities Strong collaborator with a team orientation Assertive and clear style of communication with a fluency in English Benefits: ## headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYCs Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.
