Global Banking & Markets Operations - Testing - Associate - Hyderabad

As a member of the Regulatory, Controls and Strategic Change team in the Global Banking & Markets division of Goldman Sachs, you have the opportunity to leverage your test automation and management expertise to contribute to a diverse range of high-priority initiatives. By collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization, you will play a crucial role in implementing test automation solutions that meet both tactical and strategic objectives. The Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) at Goldman Sachs serves as a centralized framework that integrates strategic assets, processes, people, and tools to streamline and optimize testing services for the Operations division. Working closely with Technology and other areas of the firm, the Testing CoE aims to automate testing processes and enhance overall testing capabilities to meet evolving business needs. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering key projects across various project phases. Your duties will include building test automation frameworks in collaboration with Technology and Operations teams, designing and executing test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing, automating test cases, managing defects, and participating in status calls. Additionally, you will cultivate strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders while staying informed about the firm's strategic plans, business processes, and architecture to drive impactful changes. To excel in this role, you should possess experience in test automation and functional testing, familiarity with tools such as Selenium, FitNesse, or Cucumber, and a solid understanding of Soap and Rest APIs. Proficiency in test automation frameworks, testing concepts, and financial products like Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives will be advantageous. Strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this dynamic and fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications for this role include a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, a degree in Computer Sciences, knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python, hands-on experience with automation code, and exposure to regulatory reporting projects such as MiFiD II and EMIR. Additionally, familiarity with Rest/SOAP APIs, version control systems like GIT/SVN, and database and Unix environments will be beneficial.
