Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the Cambridge Primary English Curriculum. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere. Promote student engagement, curiosity, and responsibility. Implement effective behavior management strategies aligned with school policies. Assessment & Reporting: Conduct formative and summative assessments using Cambridge guidelines. Maintain accurate records of student performance. Prepare student progress reports and participate in parent-teacher meetings. Collaboration & Professionalism: Work closely with fellow teachers, teaching assistants, and coordinators. Participate in curriculum planning and school-wide academic initiatives. Attend training workshops, school events, and professional development sessions. Stay updated with Cambridge curriculum developments and best teaching practices. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in English / Education / Linguistics or a relevant field (Mandatory) B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification (Preferred) Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an international or Cambridge curriculum school Familiarity with Cambridge Primary English (Stages 1–6) curriculum framework Strong command of spoken and written English Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills Passion for early literacy and child-centered education Technologically proficient (for blended or digital learning tools) Develop age-appropriate teaching materials, worksheets, and activities. Differentiate instruction to cater to varied learning abilities and language proficiency levels. Integrate phonics, vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, and speaking/listening activities. Create a literacy-rich environment to encourage reading and language fluency. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
