Job Title : Estimation Engineer Department : Estimation Reporting To : Senior Estimation Manager / Project Head Location: Mahape Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer for our fabrication division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing tender documents, coordinating with procurement, and supporting the project team to ensure cost-effective solutions in line with customer and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Study and analyse fabrication drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents. Prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates for structural and sheet metal fabrication projects. Coordinate with procurement and vendors for current material/labour rates. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements. Prepare and submit technical and commercial bid proposals. Support the project team during the execution phase for cost control and material planning. Update costing database and maintain estimation records. Attend client meetings and clarify estimation-related queries when required. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and project timelines. Required Skills and Qualifications Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. 25 years of experience in estimation within the fabrication or steel structure industry. Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and materials. roficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (if any). Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
