Job Purpose: To manage and oversee production activities during the assigned shift for glass fabric manufacturing, ensuring timely achievement of production targets with required quality and safety standards. Location is Moti Bhoyan(kalol Gandhinagar road) Key Responsibilities: Production Management Execute daily production plans and ensure smooth loom/weaving operations. Monitor shift performance, minimize downtime, and achieve output targets. Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and quality teams for seamless operations. Quality Assurance Ensure fabric production meets required quality standards. Identify defects, take corrective actions, and support root cause analysis. People Management Supervise and allocate tasks to operators and helpers during the shift. Guide, train, and motivate shift workforce on SOPs and best practices. Maintain discipline, attendance, and shift performance records. Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols. Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe working culture. Reporting & Documentation Maintain shift production logs, downtime records, and handover notes. Prepare shift reports for management review. Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of fabric weaving operations (glass/carbon fibre or textile industry preferred). Good understanding of loom/warping/finishing processes. Leadership skills with ability to manage shopfloor teams. Problem-solving and quick decision-making. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP exposure desirable).
