Location : Coimbatore Industry : Industrial Automation / Vision Systems / PLC & SCADA Solutions Experience : 5–10 years in B2B technical sales Reports To: GM / COO Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our business development and client engagement in automation and vision solutions located in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding with strong sales acumen to build long-term customer relationships and deliver consistent revenue growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and meeting sales targets. The role also involves presenting and demonstrating automation solutions to potential clients, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with the technical team to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibility Own end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, prospecting, proposals, negotiations, and closure. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for automation & vision projects. Ensure timely collections and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). Develop strong client relationships in manufacturing, automotive, and industrial clusters. Work closely with project and engineering teams for accurate scoping and proposals. Maintain and present accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports. Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to expand company reach. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client presentations. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Sales target achievement (₹ value / % growth). % of collections within agreed payment terms. New client acquisitions per quarter. Accuracy of sales forecasts vs actuals. Qualifications Experience - 5 - 10 years in Sales, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management Knowledge of Automation Solutions, including AI, Machine Vision Systems, Robotics, and IoT Strong presentation and communication skills Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities Proficiency in negotiating and closing sales deals Proven track record of achieving revenue and collection targets · Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Proven track record of achieving revenue and collection targets Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field Previous experience in the technology sector is a plus Compensation Competitive base salary.
