GIS Secondary Engineer

As a GIS Secondary Engineer at Hitachi Energy in Savli Gujarat, India, you will play a crucial role in the High Voltage Business team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the execution of LCC engineering within the GIS LCC Secondary team. This involves creating electrical circuit diagrams, utilizing tools like E3 for schematic generation. As an individual contributor, you will collaborate with colleagues, other departments, and external counterparts to ensure the timely delivery of tasks. In the absence of your Lead, you may need to liaise with counterparts and address technical queries raised by customers during project execution. Key responsibilities include the preparation of schematics for various components such as GIS CBs, disconnectors, earthing switches, CTs, VTs, and interlocking tables. You will also be involved in the preparation of protection schematics, communication architecture diagrams, and Gas Density monitoring panels. It is essential to adhere to relevant codes, standards, and QA/QC policies throughout the process. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in B.E / Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2-6 years of experience. Proficiency in CAD tools, knowledge of Protection & Control Systems, and familiarity with industry standards like IEC, IEEE, and ANSI are required. Additionally, you should possess good communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and a commitment to professionalism.
