Job Description

As a Geospatial Data Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining geospatial datasets using QGIS or similar tools to support R&D and production workflows. - Ingest and manage large geospatial datasets such as Shapefile, GeoJSON, etc. - Filter, clean, and organize layers according to project requirements. - Perform spatial operations like select, clip, merge, join, and export deliverables. - Document processes and maintain versioned datasets. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in CS, Civil, Geomatics, or a related field. - Hands-on experience with QGIS. - Understanding of GIS data formats and coordinate systems. - Strong attention to detail and structured documentation. Preferred qualifications: - Experience with spatial joins, tiling/gridding, and geoprocessing automation. - Familiarity with GDAL/OGR or Python libraries such as GeoPandas, PyQGIS. - Exposure to road-network datasets. - Comfort working with large datasets and optimizing performance.
