Key Responsibilities: Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication. A medical writer and reviewer is expected to create high-quality, scientifically accurate, and compliant medical communication documents and promotional materials. They should also maintain effective relationships with all the stakeholders and proactively ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned tasks Responsibilities To handle specialized content creation requests independently Develop materials that are scientifically accurate, medically relevant, and adhere to the required branding guidelines within the stipulated time Writing, reviewing, and proofreading materials to ensure quality and scientific accuracy Quality check and proofreading materials to ensure quality and scientific accuracy Respond and deliver requests from the clients/internal stakeholders within the stipulated turnaround time Manage workflows, anchoring, and referencing in Veeva PromoMats and Medcomms Compliant with various pharma regulations and guidelines and ensure that created content is supported by authentic and up-to-date references Coordinate with the medical writing lead, project lead, graphics team, and customer-facing team Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise Coach and review work done by junior writers. Work in close collaboration with peers/team to develop best working practices Collaborating and maintaining effective relationships with all the stakeholders Ensuring adherence to company and industry guidelines Qualifications and Requirements 2-3 years of medical/scientific writing in pharmaceutical companies/ medical communications agencies. Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field. A PhD or PharmD may be preferred. Proven proficiency in medical writing within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry. Excellent understanding of medical terminologies, statistics, data analysis, and regulatory requirements for medical communication material production. Understanding of any specialty area of medicine (preferred) or an overall understanding of the medical field. Knowledge of industry standards and guidelines for medical writing such as AMA style and awareness of FDA and EMA guidelines for promotional material submissions. Excellent understanding of tools such as Veeva Vault PromoMats, Veeva Vault Medical Communications, Use of referencing software such as endnotes etc. Excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills. Detail-oriented with exceptional quality control skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
