As an intermediate level .NET developer at Gerrie Electric, you will be responsible for building and maintaining APIs to integrate business systems and support existing in-house applications. Your role will require strong SQL Server skills and familiarity with VS Code, as well as an advantage of experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards. Knowledge in distribution areas like inventory, procurement, and sales is important. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining custom software applications, APIs, and integrations using .NET framework, VS Code, Git, and DevOps. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining SQL Server stored procedures and CTEs, creating and updating product documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, and providing guidance and training to end users. Adhering to project timelines, clear communication both orally and in writing, establishing positive collaborative relationships with customers, and recommending creative solutions to issues are also part of your role. To excel in this position, you should have completed post-secondary education in a relevant field and possess expertise in Pro.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, SQL Server, API development, VS Code, and experience with GIT repositories. Additionally, a strong background in writing and optimizing SQL queries will be beneficial.
