GERMAN LANGUAGE TEACHER

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach German as a second language to learners from Grade 6 upwards to IGCSE, aligning with the Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum
• Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated lessons
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external IGCSE German examinations on Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills
• Create a language-rich classroom environment that encourages communication and cultural appreciation
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents regularly
• Contribute to school activities, events, and enrichment programs

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in German or equivalent
• Teaching certification (preferably in international curricula like Cambridge or IB)
• Proficiency in spoken and written German (minimum B2/C1 level as per CEFR)
• Prior experience teaching German in a Cambridge or IGCSE school is an added advantage
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
