Geriatric Social Worker

Living Life Trust is currently seeking a Geriatric Social Worker to coordinate activities at "THARAVADU", the Day Care Center for the elderly. This is a full-time, contractual/temporary position with a contract length of 24 months. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of total work experience, with experience in geriatric care being preferred. As a Geriatric Social Worker, you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing various activities at the Day Care Center, ensuring the well-being and comfort of the elderly participants. Your role will involve providing social support, coordinating with other staff members, and liaising with families and caregivers to create a nurturing and engaging environment for the elderly individuals under your care. This position requires you to work in person at the designated location. You must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with elderly individuals, their families, and other stakeholders. The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and demonstrate empathy and compassion towards the elderly is essential for success in this role.
