As a Robotics Software Engineer, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team working at the intersection of robotics, AI, and cutting-edge hardware. Your main responsibility will be to lead the integration of custom actuators and sensors with Jetson GPUs, leveraging the NVIDIA Isaac platform and VLA models to build intelligent robotic systems. Your key responsibilities will include integrating and optimizing custom actuators and sensors with Jetson GPUs, utilizing VLA models to develop intelligent motion control, perception, and decision-making capabilities. You will also be tasked with building and maintaining an application layer on top of VLA workflows to enable seamless interaction between hardware and software components. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of hardware, software, and AI models will be essential. In this role, you will conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of robotic systems in both simulated and real-world environments. Staying updated on advancements in robotics and AI technologies will be crucial to incorporate best practices into projects. Additionally, documenting design specifications, development processes, and project outcomes will be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field. Strong experience in integrating robotic hardware with GPUs or similar high-performance computing systems is required. Hands-on experience with vision-language-action models or large language models for robotics perception tasks is a must. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ for robotics applications, familiarity with the NVIDIA Isaac platform, and expertise in motion control algorithms, reinforcement learning, or imitation learning techniques are essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team are key attributes for this role.
