Job Description Company Description Genisup India Private Limited is a semiconductor and system design company based in Bangalore. We specialize in Foundational IP Fabless Design, Semiconductor Product Engineering, and IoT solutions. This position is for one of our key global semiconductor clients. Role Description Genisup is seeking a talented VLSI Analog Custom Design Automation Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The selected candidate will be part of a central CAD team supporting global product design teams working on advanced technology nodes (22nm to 3nm). This role involves driving VLSI CAD flow/methodology development and automation for analog and mixed-signal design environments. Responsibilities Define and implement analog design flows and methodologies including schematic/layout design, simulation, LVS, DRC, PEX, and EMIR. Set up and customize PDKs and develop associated design flows. Automate EDA tools and methodologies using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, C-Shell, and TCL. Maintain design infrastructure including pcell libraries, standard cell libraries, GPIOs, rule decks, and techfiles. Collaborate with analog and physical design teams to debug and resolve tool/flow issues. Support EDA infrastructure including tools, license features, LSF, and version control systems. Evaluate EDA tools and develop new flows to enhance design productivity. Qualifications Experience: 3 7 years in VLSI CAD engineering with hands-on experience in analog and digital design flows. Expertise: Strong understanding of analog design flows and methodologies. Familiarity with synthesis and PNR flows from RTL to GDS and STA is a plus. Proficient in handling design formats: Cadence OA, GDS, CDL, Spice, SPF, RTL, Verilog, LEF, DEF, .LIB, SDF, SDC. Experience with physical verification tools and flows: LVS, DRC, Simulation, PEX, EMIR. Knowledge of EDA tools: Virtuoso, Spectre, Hspice, Calibre, StarRC, Totem, Voltus, NanoTime, XA. Strong scripting skills: PERL, TCL, C-Shell, Python, Makefile. Familiarity with design data management tools: Methodics, Perforce, SVN. Academics Bachelor s or Master s degree (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) in Electronics Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science (CS), or related fields.
