Business Head – Projects Business Unit: Projects (Air Conditioning & HVAC Solutions) Location: Pune (Head Office) with travel across Maharashtra Reporting To: Director / Founder GENEX is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Head – Projects to lead its air conditioning solutions vertical. This is a senior-level role involving end-to-end ownership of institutional project sales—from lead generation to client conversion and final project execution. The role requires collaboration with architects, interior designers, consultants, and institutional clients like hotels, schools, and corporates. Prerequisites Must Have: • 5–7 years of total field sales experience Prerequisites • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the air conditioning or HVAC industry (ductable, VRF, or residential AC units) • Experience working with architects, interior designers, and institutional clients (hotels, schools, etc.) • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and project business • Fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi • Excellent presentation, communication, and follow-up skills • Self-starter, result-oriented, persuasive, and team-oriented • Experience using CRM tools and maintaining structured sales records • Willingness to travel within the city and across Maharashtra Good to Have: • Experience in a Senior Manager / Business Head role • Exposure to turnkey HVAC project handling • Strong network within the architect and builder ecosystem • MBA , Architecture, Interior Designer 💼 Think you fit this role? Business Development Executive – Projects (HVAC & AC) Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and professional Business Development Executive who will work closely with architects and interior designers ,Builders on large-scale residential and commercial projects. Developing Channel Partners. The role is focused on building and nurturing relationships with design professionals to drive business growth for HVAC and air conditioning products. Developing Channel Partners. Leads will be provided by the internal team, with only occasional cold calling required. All technical and backend support will be managed internally. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Engagement Interact and build relationships with architects, interior designers, and project consultants. Meet with them to understand upcoming project needs and introduce our brand's HVAC solutions. Follow up consistently on shared leads and project opportunities. 2. Lead Management Work on qualified project leads provided by our internal team. Maintain communication and follow-ups to ensure closure of leads. Occasionally perform cold outreach, but primary work will be on provided leads. 3. Presentation & Coordination Present product brochures, design options, and USPs of HVAC solutions in a non-technical, client-friendly manner. Coordinate with our technical/pre-sales team for detailed proposals and site solutions. Schedule meetings between our technical experts and the design teams when required. 4. Project Tracking & Reporting Maintain a record of all discussions, site visits, and meetings. Share daily/weekly progress reports with management. Track project timelines and ensure smooth flow of communication between client and internal teams. Key Skills Required: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Confident in meeting professionals and discussing premium project solutions Well-organized and self-motivated Presentation and client handling skills Freshers with good communication and interest in architecture/design industry are also welcome
