Role & responsibilities Solar Module Assembly Costing Engineer Company: Confidential Renewable Energy Firm (Hyderabad) Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana Experience : 3 to 7 years in Solar Module Assembly / PV Manufacturing Salary: Open to freelance or full-time Job Description: • We are setting up a 50 MW solar module assembly unit with a blend of owned and leased machinery. • We are hiring a costing and feasibility expert who understands DCR/ALMM compliance and per MW assembly cost modeling. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and monitor cost structures per panel and per MW. • Create BOM and liaise with vendors for cells, glass, EVA, etc. • Support ALMM and BIS compliance processes. • Assist with planning for owned vs leased machinery setup. • Generate breakeven, margin, and scale-up feasibility reports. Desired Candidate Profile: • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering • Hands-on knowledge of module assembly costing and ALMM/DCR norms • Strong in Excel, cost modeling, ERP tools, and vendor communications Education : UG: B.Tech/B.E.
