Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Patient Examinations: Conduct routine dental check-ups and oral health assessments to diagnose various dental conditions.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and present appropriate treatment plans to patients, ensuring clear communication and patient understanding.
• Preventive Care: Provide preventive services like cleanings and sealants to maintain oral health.
• Restorative Procedures: Perform restorative dentistry, including fillings, crowns, and other prosthetic devices.
• Surgical Procedures: Carry out minor surgical procedures like simple and surgical extractions.
• Root Canal Therapy: Perform root canals to treat infections and save damaged teeth.
• Cosmetic Dentistry: Provide cosmetic services to improve the appearance of patients' teeth.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices to maintain good oral health.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records of diagnoses, treatments, and consultations.
• Referrals: Refer patients to specialists (e.g., oral surgeons, orthodontists) for specialized treatments when necessary.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: A Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree is required.
• Licensing: A valid license to practice dentistry in India.
• Experience: Experience in clinical dental treatment and procedures is often required.
