Key Responsibilities: Fabrication: Sheet metal work use hand and power tools, including shears, brakes, punches, and CNC equipment, to cut, bend, shape, and otherwise fabricate sheet metal according to blueprints, sketches, or specifications. Assembly: Join sheet metal components using techniques like welding, riveting, bolting, and other methods to create complete assemblies or structures. Installation: Sheet metal workers install fabricated items, such as ductwork, roofing, and siding, ensuring proper fit and functionality, often working at construction sites or in various facilities. Repair: They diagnose and repair damaged or malfunctioning sheet metal products, often working with DRYER systems and other metal components. Reading and interpreting blueprints: Sheet metal works must be able to understand technical drawings, schematics, and work specifications to accurately fabricate and install sheet metal products. Safety: They adhere to safety regulations and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment and using tools and equipment safely. Maintaining tools and equipment: Keeping their tools and work area clean and organized is a key responsibility. Troubleshooting: Sheet metal works collaborate with others to identify and resolve issues that arise during the fabrication or installation process. Working with various materials: Sheet metal works work with different types of sheet metal MS & Various SS sheet.
